Hey Everyone!

Checking in with y'all to let you know what's been happening. 

The short answer is that I am about 2/3 of the way done with everything and I'm looking pretty good to hit my target date of 2/14/23. As I said before, this is the final chapter of the "Christmas Eve" story, but I am already doing some preliminary work on the sequel "New Years Day(e)". So far this chapter is really feeling good. Lots of good stuff happens - not just the spicy stuff, but good, meaty, character stuff. Lots of big, juicy story hooks left open for future endeavors (if you guys want more, that is). 

Unfortunately, I was well ahead of schedule up until about a week ago when disaster struck and my computer shit the proverbial bed. Luckily, it was "only" my motherboard and not, say, my hard disk(s) where I have everything stored (including all my rendered images, scripts, game files, etc). I did my best to turn a negative into a positive. I upgraded my CPU and motherboard as well as getting a slick new case. I have also made multiple backups (one local, one cloud based). I also made the possible mistake of upgrading to Windows 11. We'll see how that goes. IMO MS has not had a good track record of releasing good operating systems in sequence.XP good, Vista bad, 7 good, 8 bad, 10 good(ish), 11 (?). I guess 11 is more like 10.5. Anyway, I'm rambling.The point is that I'm back up and running . Well, writing and rendering anyway.

If you made it this far, I applaud your attention span. Hopefully this will be my final report before  I release chapter 4. Wish me luck. Send me feedback if you are inclined. I'll be working hard finishing things up.

Looks like someone's already got their beach bod! Dang, Eve...looking hot!
